I love September. Back to school always held so many possibilities for an amazing new year. You could redesign your wardrobe, settle into new routines, and re-commit to a healthier lifestyle, regardless of whether you were actually starting a new school year or continuing on in the working world. I like to think of September as my second New Years. It’s another opportunity for a fresh start. I always set new goals for the “year” and get pumped up about all that I want to accomplish.
This September I want to help you recommit to your healthy lifestyle, and that’s why I’m excited to announce that there will be some changes coming to Savour & Shine for the month! On top of the usual recipes and nutrition tips you usually find on the blog, I will be encouraging you in your fitness endeavors and promoting overall wellbeing. Look forward to posts on new fitness classes to try, new workout music, stress busters, and better sleep tips and tricks. I’ll also be sharing my favourite snack ideas, easy lunches for work and school, and some fun fall recipes to keep you energized and healthy. We’re all on this journey towards better health together, and it’s my hope that we can all encourage each other to set new goals and crush them this month!
